MEDITERRANEAN NORDIC

MEDITERRANEAN FRIDAYS III: OSLO, A NORDIC RESTAURANT IN VALENCIA

Via Borja García Studio.

The restaurant Oslo, the vegetarian is a work of the Valencian architect and designer Borja García. The simple Nordic lines can be found in every corner of the project: from the sign's graphic design at the entrance to every single object decorating the shelves. Several parts from the original building- which dates from 1850- have been preserved: such as the wooden beams of the ceiling or the stone walls. The combination of these genuine elements with the Scandinavian purity and functionality turn Oslo restaurant into a warm and friendly place.

My favorite part: the Mava chair by Punt. Manufactured in natural beech, it matches with shelves and contrasts with tables and bar ebony colour. Its lightness and softness of forms make you want to sit on it, don't you think so?
