A DUTCH HOME BY MY DEER

Via My Scandinavian home.

I am simply in love with this house. It is not actually the first time I talk about it, since I wrote a post about its Christmas decorations that you can re-read here. Its owner and stylist, Maaike Koster, is the creative mind behind My Deer art shop. Every corner of the house has something special: the living in front of the marble fireplace with the vintage rug and the Lounge Chair by Charles y Ray Eames from Vitra, the kitchen in pure white shades with the Plastic Side Chairs DSR by Eames and Vitra too or the workspace with the Forsa lamp from Ikea and copper wired decorations from My Deer. 

But the most spectacular part of the house is the main bedroom that, reminiscent of a hotel suite, has the bathroom inside. Details are everything here, like in the rest of the house: a dream bathtub, a tiny washbasin on a rustic table made of untreated wood and a change in flooring, from white painted wood to stone pavement, which is a very pleasant design surprise.

In short, a house I would move into today. Happy Monday!

Esta casa sencillamente me encanta. De hecho no es la primera vez que hablo ella, ya escribí un post sobre su decoración navideña que puedes releer aquí. Su propietaria y también estilista, Maaike Koster, es la mente creativa detrás de la tienda de arte My Deer. Cada rincón de la casa tiene algo especial: el estar frente a la chimenea de mármol con la alfombra vintage y la Lounge Chair por Charles y Ray Eames de Vitra, la cocina en blanco puro con las Plastic Side Chairs DSR también de los Eames y Vitra o el espacio de trabajo con la lámpara Forsa de Ikea y los objetos decorativos en hilo de cobre de My Deer. 

Pero lo más espectacular de la casa es el dormitorio principal que, con aires de suite, alberga dentro el baño. En él, como en el resto de la casa, los detalles lo son todo: una bañera de ensueño, un lavabo mínimo apoyado sobre una mesa rústica de madera sin tratar y un cambio de pavimento de madera pintada de blanco a suelo empedrado que es una sorpresa de diseño de lo más agradable. 

En resumen, una casa a la que me mudaba hoy mismo sin dudarlo. ¡Feliz lunes!
